This Daewoo G15MF-B cylinder head assembly is a brand new, factory-fresh replacement for the 1.5-litre SOHC petrol engine used across the Nexia, Espero, Cielo, Lanos and Aveo ranges. It is supplied with valves pre-installed — intake and exhaust valves, springs, retainers, stem seals and guides are already fitted. The camshaft is NOT included, making this the ideal choice for rebuilders who already have a serviceable camshaft from their original engine.
The G15MF is the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine developed by Daewoo and related to the Opel Family II architecture, fitted to a very wide range of Daewoo and Chevrolet models from the mid-1990s onward. It is a SOHC 8-valve design with an aluminium cylinder head and a belt-driven camshaft. These engines remain in daily service across Eastern Europe, Russia, the CIS, South America and the Middle East, and the cylinder head is a documented replacement item on high-mileage or timing-belt failure examples.
